The fam camp is fine. We stayed there last week and are heading back this weekend. Great place to relax and walk the dog. We'll definitely be back
Can't beat the price. The RV spots were all taken, but tent camping is allowed pretty much anywhere in the grass as long as you are not right next to one of the pavilions. The restroom/shower facility is in need of an upgrade. I have never seen stainless steel toilets with integrated seats before, it reminded me of something you might see in a Navy ship. My wife thought it was something you might see in a prison. With the cement block walls I think she is right. I guess you wouldn't have to worry about that if you are in an RV. Not very buggy besides spiders in the trees where we camped. It isn't bad here and I would stay again if passing through, but we have stayed in some much nicer FamCamp facilities on this trip.
